Application Guidelines

To ensure optimal performance and appearance of Colored TPU Paint Protection Film (PPF), follow these key steps:

⚫️Surface Preparation: Clean and dry the vehicle thoroughly to remove dust, dirt, and oils. This ensures proper adhesion and a flawless finish.
⚫️Ideal Conditions: Apply PPF in a temperature range of 60°F (15°C) to 80°F (27°C). Avoid direct sunlight, high humidity, or extreme cold, which can affect adhesion and handling.

⚫️Recommended application tools: Squeegee, buffer, knife, masking tape, heat gun, magnets, gloves, IRR thermometer, IRR heater
⚫️Installation Precision: Carefully align and apply the film using a squeegee and heat gun to eliminate air pockets and wrinkles. It’s best to have an experienced installer handle the application.
⚫️Edge Sealing: Ensure all edges are securely sealed to prevent peeling and ensure a smooth, seamless look. Use edge sealant if necessary for added durability.
⚫️Curing Time: Allow 24-48 hours for the film to fully cure before washing or exposing it to harsh conditions.
⚫️Maintenance: Regularly clean the film with non-abrasive products. Avoid harsh chemicals or scrubbing to preserve the film's appearance and longevity.
